Gertrude's solution to a messy breakup

After being with my fiancee for 5 years, I thought things were going great. We were happily engaged and ready to start our lives together as a fresh young couple. I cannot describe just how amazing it all felt, it felt too good to be true.
And it was.
I came home from work early one afternoon to the man I used to love. I was so excited to surprise him and it was all going to be normal, except when I opened the door to our apartment, which was unusually unlocked, as I walked in it appeared empty.
Low and behold I see my fiancee with 2 other women in my bed!
To add insult to injury I found out his affairs had been going on since the start of our relationship AND he was stealing jewelry off of me and pawning it off.
After this, I packed my stuff and moved back with my mum. I gave him 3 days to get out of my apartment.
I was left lost and heartbroken and had no idea what to do. My mum desperately wanted me to go out there again but I wasn't up for it.
That is when I turned to art. Art gave me something to focus on that wasn't people. It allowed me to put my energy into something positive for me and I fell in love again, but this time with my craft.
Art became my passion and livelihood and I have never felt more in tune with myself. Its been 1 year since my breakup and I finally feel ready put my art, and myself back out there.

The disease that destroyed me

Kira's emotional expression at the eating disorder that ruined her. While fighting the demon of anorexia nervosa, Kira wrote a song that details the pain and reality of an eating disorder and the pain and sadness that comes from it.
While interviewing her Kira stated, "I never claimed to be a musician, but the midst of my torment I felt that the best way to express my struggle was with song."
Kira also stated, " I urge anyone who suffers with an eating disorder or disordered eating to reach out for help, you can't live a full and happy life while confined to a self destructive mental prison."
Eating disorders are dangerous illnesses, and can really take control over you before you even know it. It started with what I thought was an innocent diet, before I knew it, food had taken control of my life, I became isolated and alone, in denial about the seriousness of the issue, telling myself I can stop acting this way anytime. I couldn't.
Eventually I reached out for help. Looking at the lifeless husk I had become I reached out to my mother who then go me some help...

Young Historian
History was something I always found myself interested in. The passion and drive I had for the topic truly made me believe that I would excel and work with it. So when I was young I put all my efforts into it, by secondary school I had received awards for my analysis of ancient history and delved into modern history and the development of medicine through time.
I then applied for history at university and was awarded a scholarship within it. Now, while studying at university, I work part time in my local British history museum and specialize in Germany through time. I have since begun working on a book, called 50 year peace, and have become the youngest historian in the UK at 19 years old.
Through hard work and determination, I made my dreams come true, I urge anyone who has a dream to follow it, and to encourage and support your children in the things they love and allow them to be successful.
Bean

The Joy of Owning a House Rabbit
So you think rabbits should live in hutches? In the cold outdoors, alone with loud noises and predators on the prowl? No. The idea that rabbits need to be kept in hutches outdoors originates from when scientists used rabbits as lab animals to be experimented on. They were not pets. They were test subjects.
Rabbits are very intellectual animals that can be house trained just as well as cats or dogs, being litter trained. They are also capable of tricks and are full of love and affection.
Bean is my best friend. Just like a loyal dog or a childhood friend, Bean will love and care for you in his own little bunny way. Rabbits' have all sorts of fun ways of showing their love too! Bean will lick you, like a dog would to say ' hey, I groom you because I love you.' and will lay out and cuddle for hours.
A happy bunny will also binky, a little jump and wiggle they do to show they are having fun.
